88hvac specializes in Geothermal HVAC
system. From Vertical wells, HDD
Geothermal Drillers,  slinky installations,
and swimming pool loop installations. Our
goal is a high efficient system that has the
cost benefits to go with it. Since 1999 we
have been working in ground source
geothermal industry, and not until  the
energy needs has there been a more need
for green systems to curb energy use.
Geothermal equipment today is much
more efficient and less co2 emitting than
most other hvac systems

Ground source heat pumps / geothermal / geo systems in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The apex of heating and cooling systems.
By: 88hvac.com

Geothermal heating has been around for a while now, but it is becoming more and more common especially with in the San Francisco
Bay area, when many of us think about geothermal energy we think of large industrial energy companies.  However the other
geothermal heating and cooling are growing in popularity with many private home owners who are opting for a 500% efficient heating
and cooling system by  geothermal energy which has the potential to get you off the main grid, when combined with a solar or fuel cell
, think of the money you could save!

Because of the unique climate you find in the bay area, heat pumps offer a brilliant alternative to your traditional furnaces and other
forms of heating and cooling systems. Geothermal heating and cooling originates from the temperate temperatures found beneath
the ground, the energy from the solar energy absorbed at the surface is enough to be harnessed and turned into heating and
cooling.  To get started you need a geothermal heat pump, the initial upfront cost are considerable to a high efficient gas furnace and
heat pump system, but after a short time a geothermal hvac system will pay for itself  as we watch natural gas, lp, and other energy
sources rise with the cost of oil .

The cost of propane, electricity and heating oil are so expensive these days, geothermal heating and cooling is truly a viable option.
A lot of schools and residential home owners are looking into geothermal heating and a lot of buildings even have a heat pump
system in place. One of the reasons is that until 2017, the Federal government will have in place a Federal tax credit of 30% un-
capped. This means for the total cost of the installation of the geothermal system, 30% can be deducted over several tax years
against your federal taxes.  The second reason is that there is no other heating or cooling system that can deliver 500% efficiencies,
while providing almost FREE hot water while calling for cooling.

“There are some 15,000 to 20,000 operating geothermal systems in Pacific Northwest service areas and perhaps half as many more
in California,” according to John Geyer, a geothermal consultant and certified geothermal designer in Vancouver, Wash. “The
national growth rate is between 10 and 15 percent a year.”

Heat exchange pumps above ground extract energy from water to provide building heat in winter and cooling in summer. At the
moment geothermal heat exchange systems cost almost two thirds less than your traditional propane or oil costs per year. The other
plus with geothermal heating is that there are no dangerous emissions, making it environmentally friendly. Geothermal heating and
cooling in the San Francisco bay area is proving to be popular due to the costs and the climate which makes it perfect.
