| ECOTEC’S VPLV is a heat pump d-esigned for connection to an existing (retrofit) building or new boiler. ECOEC’S pump captures energy in the outdoor air and supplies heat to both the building water based heating system and domestic hot water. Our air-air unit can also be used in cases where home heating is forced air and not hydronic heat. Both units provide proven savings and a balanced indoor temp. They are designed to be easily integrated with existing heating systems which only kick-in below minus 15 degrees C. ECOTEC’s air/water heat pumps WILL lower your energy cost by 50-60%, an in some cases more! ECOTEC VPLV is very easy to install. The heat pump connects to any boiler with 22 mm pipe. Roof top, or beside a building all it needs is a plumber to install. Saves $1000 in installation costs and requires no expensive holes or coils in the ground. ECOTEC VPLV is designed to give great savings even during the winter months. It is extremely efficient down to -15 °C. ECOTEC’s - VPLV provides optimal functionality when docked with any electric boiler with system tank, which then produces domes- tic sanitary hot water. All control fun-c tions such as heating the house, night reduction, operating times, temperatures, etc are controlled from an EVR-system. The building’s heating is distributed via a fourway shunt to give an even temperature. The modular design allows economical heating solutions for home owners and large commercial building. Multiaqua is available in 3, 4, and 5-ton cooling
capacities and is matched with a variety of indoor
fan coils, unsurpassed in application flexibility.
Multiaqua is a self-contained unit with no add-on
modules or additional assembly needed to make
chilled water. Multiaqua is designed with great care
to provide easy service access and readily available
components. Multiaqua works using the basic
refrigeration cycle. R-22 refrigerant is circulated
through the system by a Copeland Scroll
compressor which increases the pressure and
temperature of the refrigerant and pumps it into the
condenser coil. In the condenser, the refrigerant
vapor is cooled as air passes over the coil using two,
fractional horsepower, fan/motor assemblies
configured for horizontal discharge. The refrigerant
then condenses into liquid. The liquid refrigerant
flows through a thermostatic expansion valve where
the flow is metered. The pressure and temperature
are reduced.
After passing through the expansion valve, the
refrigerant flows into a brazed plate heat exchanger
where it boils by absorbing heat from the water
passing through parallel circuits of the heat
exchanger. As the refrigerant starts the trip back
through its self-contained cycle, the newly chilled
water passes through a stainless steel head,
fractional horsepower pump.
